Essence of Yoga Retreats in Ubud Bali offer classes, workshops and retreat intensives to develop or deepen a Yoga practice. Whether you're a beginner or have been practicing Yoga for a while, our Retreats are an opportunity to immerse oneself in the Essence of Yoga. We teach with sensitivity and awareness to suit the individual's requirement.

Building a strong foundation in Asana through Universal Principles of Structural Alignment, you are guided at your own pace to journey into the more subtle realms of Yoga and experience the deeper aspects of this practice. We respond to your goals and your aspirations with a personalised practise plan that works for you.

Our Yoga and Wellness Retreats in Ubud Bali are held in peaceful and natural surroundings vibrant with Nature which supports and enhances the deepening of a yoga practice. The emphasis is not only on asana but also on the other limbs of Yoga, equally if not more important to one's Understanding and Wellbeing. Yoga, when practiced properly, leads to freedom within one's heart. Thus liberating us from 'suffering'. We are also equipped to add on a detox component for those with general or specific Health challenges. Or a Revitalizing/Build up component if you just need
a boost for your energy levels.

Our purpose is to provide authentic yoga practices that help to increase one's Health and Well-Being on different levels. Physically, emotionally. mentally and spiritually. Classes are designed to explore various aspects/limbs of Yoga from Asana (yoga positions) to Dhyana (meditation) and ultimately Samadhi (pure awareness). Classes also introduce the Yoga Sutras and discuss their meaning as well as explore how that translates to daily life. The practice of Kirtan and chanting of sacred Sanskrit mantras is included help to raise one's frequencies.

The practices of yoga gives tremendous benefits among them relaxing the physical body, calming the mind and soothing (by purifying) the nervous system. This in turn can alleviate conditions such as anxiety, insomnia and post-traumatic stress disorder that involve the nervous system.
